Traditional Pre-School

   In computer class students learn to cooperate, collaborate, create, and communicate through the use of technology. Throughout the school year, students will develop keyboarding skills, gain strong digital citizenship, and use technology to discover, compose, and produce cross-curriculur multimedia projects.  

        Each grade level receives weekly formal instruction in our wireless computer lab using applications such as:

• Windows moviemaker

• Scratch programming

• Kidspiration graphic organizer

These software programs, many Web tools, iPad apps, Dash and Dot robots, and Google accounts are all used to create projects that support the classroom curriculum.  When students create projects as an extension of class work, they also learn to follow basic directions to open applications, find and save files, and develop keyboard skills.
